In the ruins of Japan, Haruka lives with no recollection of what happened to her or her parents. Found by five robots, she finds a new life with them as the last human on Earth. Her only friends are the naïve android spike, the intelligence robot Cleric and the mysterious warrior Angela. They are joined by Trigger, a tiny combat robot, and Reeves, the meanest looking machine ever to wear a frilly pink apron. Together, they protect Haruka form the legions of war robots that are still being produced in automated factories.
