An unlikely trio treks across the Sahara Desert in search of a lost city and riches.

But they might not like what they find there. Bonnard, an apparently religious man, enlists the aid of trial guide Joe January to help him find a cache of loot stashed in the sand by Bonnard's long-lost father. Dita, a young local woman with a checkered past, tags along. When they learn that Bonnard's father isn't the good man everyone imagined him to be, Bonnard himself reveals another, ugly side.
