James Brolin and Judy Davis give Emmy-nominated performances as Ronald and Nancy Reagan in this mini series which was produced for CBS but moved to the more risk-taking Showtime network (in an abbreviated form) when portions of the American public became angry that conservative icon Reagan would not be portrayed in a favorable light. The film focuses on primarily on the Reagans often turbulent family life during their years in the White House.
