Review

LAPD officers responding to a crime scene report to have found video tapings of extreme gang activity. These tapes seem to reflect Gang membership beat down, drive by shootings, drug paraphernalia, the creation of crack-cocaine, aggravated assault and battery, drug use by minors, among other criminal activity. Beat downs are routinely videotaped by gangs, but the extent of violence on these tapes is unlike any seen before.

Detectives reviewing the tapes for leads say that it clearly depicts the vicious and brutal activities of a notorious South Central Los Angeles gang. These Gang Tapes, recorded by a gang member using a stolen video camera. The camera was stolen from a white family that appears to have been lost in the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles. Suspects car jacked the mini van of the family and began to video tape their activities.
