Elvis stars as pilot Rick Richards, an ex-airline pilot who starts a helicopter charter service in Hawaii with his pal Danny Kohana (James Shigeta). Along the way, he finds time to mingle with the natives, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and romance Judy Hudson (Susanna Leigh).
