"Romance At Droitgate Spa"-Freddie falls in love unwisely but too well with a lowly magician's assistant. "Portrait Of A Disciplinarian"-Reginald and Jane have tea with their old nanny and find her personality as forceful as ever. "Unpleasantness At Bludleigh Court"-A romance between two poets in endangered by the malignant influence of a house seeped in the traditions od blood sports. "The Rise Of Minna Nordstrom"-A star is born in 1920's Hollywood, the era of silent movies and prohibition. "Rodney Fails To Qualify"-The relationship of William and Jill is threatened by the advent of Rodney, who is not only a poet but, even worse, a non-golfer.
