When the Cartoon Network revived the characters from the old SUPERFRIENDS cartoons with a new, hip look and additional characters more in tune to the 21st Century, it took fans of the animation by storm. This pair of two-part episode from the first season of the series offer particularly stunning evidence of the brilliance of the series. "Blackest Knight" features Green Lantern, who is tried for destroying a planet while the Justice League attempts to discover who the real culprit is. "The Enemy Below" also pulls the members of the Justice League together to save one of their own. This time it's Aquaman who needs assistance in saving his underwater world.
