Rick Morgan, a mining engineer, is blamed for the death of thousands from a toxic spill deep in the African countryside. Back in Africa Rick discovers that the still hidden contaminants are not toxic waste but plutonium cores from Russia hijacked by the CIA and Rick’s old friend Jim Scott.

It’s a cat and mouse game as Rick and Kim, a UN contaminations expert, search closed mines in order to recover the hidden shipment of plutonium before the North Koreans get to it.
