A blend of action, fantasy, and comedy, SAIYUKI is the story of a renegade priest, a monkey king, a lecherous water sprite, and a sympathetic demon who team up to form an unlikely band of warriors. Their common enemies are the demons that have covered the land of Saiyuki with dark energy to resurrect an ancient monster. In these episodes, the Sanzo Party get stuck in a storm, bringing the troubled pasts of its members to the surface. Later, as Hakkai, Gojyo, Sanzo, and Goku battle demon exterminators and Crowmen, their dubious pasts give them doubts about the future.
