John Wayne teams up with Kirk Douglas in 'The War Wagon', an action-packed western. Wayne plays rancher Taw Jackson, who's dead set on capturing an ironclad stagecoach belonging to a cattle baron (Bruce Cabot) who stole his fortune and tarnished his good name years before.



To pull of the heist, Jackson puts together a crew that includes and old character (Keenan Wynn), a half-civilised Indian (Howard Keel), a young drunk (Robert Walker) and a cocky gunfighter (Douglas).
