Directionless high school student Casey (Justin Noland) decides that he would like to be a serial killer--but first he has to do some research. He finds an ally in Sasha (Lisa Loeb), a suicidal goth girl who would love to be his first victim, and together they begin to study the work of the world's more infamous psychopaths. But while they're reading up, a real murderer begins terrorizing the city, and suddenly Casey and Sasha find that they are doing more sleuthing than killing.
