Best In Show

Best In Show is "the year's funniest movie." (Lou Lumenick, New York Post). Waiting For Guffman's Christopher Guest directs and many of the film's stars (including Fred Willard as a loopy commentator) reunite for this zany look at dog show participants (and the pooches who love them). Join the fun as Mayflower Kennel Club competitors -a fly-fishing shop owner from Pine Nut, NC (Guest), Shih-Tzu-doting partners (Michael McKean and Jon Michael Higgins), squabbling yuppies (Parker Posey and Michael Hitchcock), a dim-bulb trophy wife (Jennifer Coolidge) and her ace handler (Jane Lynch) and a married couple (Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara) who dream up ditties about terriers - vie for the top prize.

A Mighty Wind

In A Mighty Wind, director Christopher Guest reunites the team from Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman to tell the story (co-written by Eugene Levy) of '60s-era folk musicians, who, inspired by the death of their former manager, get back on the stage for one concert in New York City's Town Hall.

Levy and Catherine O'Hara are Mitch and Mickey, once the sweethearts of folk music until their bitter separation; Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer are classic folk trio The Folksmen, and Parker Posey, John Michael Higgins and Jane Lynch anchor a color-coordinated, harmonizing "neuftet" - the New Main Street Singers.

Joining the musicians are Bob Balaban, Ed Begley, Jr., Jennifer Coolidge, Paul Dooley, Michael Hitchcock, Don Lake, Larry Miller, Jim Piddock, Deborah Theaker and Fred Willard, who all work to revive folk music in this uniquely touching comedy.

Waiting for Guffman

Blain, Missouri, may be small, but Corky St. Clair always dreams big. Determined to get back to the lights of Broadway, he's created Red, White and Blaine, a musical celebration of the burg's 150th anniversary.

This Is Spinal Tap and Best In Show co-creator Christopher Guest plays Corky in this acclaimed comedy. Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Parker Posey, Fred Willard and Bob Balaban co-star as stagestruck townfolk who pin their hopes of being discovered on Corky's hilariously hapless theater production... and on reports that big-time talent scout Mort Guffman will be in the audience. "Waiting For Guffman does for regional theater what This Is Spinal Tap did for rock n' roll" (Jami Bernard, New York Daily News).
