Review

... And now the story of a wealthy family, who lost everything, and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together ... it's ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT.

Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman), a widower, wants nothing more than to be a good father to his 13-year-old son, George-Michael (Michael Cera). He resolves to quit the family business for good and move to Arizona to start a new life. But before they can depart, Michael's father (Jeffery Tamboris) arrested for shifty accounting practices at the family-owned conglomerate. The Bluth family assets are frozen, and each member of the eccentric family is sent reeling. Michael's mother, Lucille (Jessica Walterfinds herself living alone in a penthouse without the financial means to maintain it, while Michael's two brothers, GOB (Will Arnett), and Buster (Tony Hale), his sister Lindsay (Portia DeRossi), her husband Tobias (David Cross) and her daughter Maeby (Alia Shawkat) also find themselves having to recreate their lifestyles to fit their new financial status. Michael reluctantly finds himself having to pull his offbeat family up by their bootstraps and slowly teach them how to live without the family fortune.

The show received massive, universal critical acclaim, was nominated for 7 Emmys, a Golden Globe, and won the prestigious TV Land "Future Classic" in its first season.
