A poor law student, Martin (Ewan McGregor) takes a job as the lone night watchman at the creepy city morgue to earn easy cash by night. His cushy job becomes complicated by a serial killer keeping the morgue busy at night. As the atrocious crimes unfold, all clues point to the seemingly innocent Martin, now the police's prime suspect. The eerie twists and turns lead a terrified Martin fighting to stay awake--wide awake--for his life!
