Joined by his rebellious daughter (Molly Ringwald), Phillip heads off on a Greek odyssey where he crosses paths with a free-spirited singer (Susan Sarandon). Together, the three start a strange, new life on an abandoned island in the Aegean Sea. But nothing perfect lasts forever... and when a ship wrecks off shore one stormy night, the survivors turn Phillip's paradise upside down.
