A full-of-himself teenager and a crusty old Colorado cattleman - they've got nothing in common, except that they're grandfather and grandson. Now they're going on an eight hundred mile, once-in-a-lifetime journey from the Colorado Mountains to the Pacific Ocean on horseback. This historic trip west, full of excitement, danger, colorful characters, is a physical and emotional challenge that will change both of them forever - if they don't kill each other first.
