Reap The Wild Wind(1942): 1840s Key West is filled with salvage businesses thriving on the cargo of wrecked ships. Ship owner Loxi Claiborne suspects salvager King Cutler of foul play, since he's always first on the scene at a wreck. Meanwhile, Loxi's suitor, Captain Jack Stuart, is another suspect - at least to jealous lawyer Steve Tolliver. Who will be found guilty - and how - hinges on some amazing developments.
The Spoilers(1942): In Nome, Alaska, miner Roy Glennister and his partner Dextry, financed by saloon entertainer Cherry Malotte, fight to save their gold claim from crooked commissioner Alexander McNamara.
The War Wagon(1967): Rancher Taw Jackson (Wayne) is dead-set on capturing an ironclad stagecoach belonging to the cattle baron who stole his fortune and tarnished his good name years before.
To pull off the heist Jackson puts together a crew that includes an old character, a half-civilized Indian, a young drunk and a cocky gunfighter...
Hellfighters(1968): Paying tribute to oil field legend 'Red' Adair, Wayne plays Chance Buckman, a colourful Texan who tames out-of-control infernos in exotic locations around the world. Between blazes Chance carries the torch for Madelyn, the wife who left him 20 years earlier because of his dangerous lifestyle, and assistant Greg has his hands full at the poker table and in the bedroom with Chance's spunky daughter, Tish.
Rooster Cogburn(1975): Two of the most popular stars in screen history are brought together for the first time in the follow up to True Grit. The film returns John Wayne to the role of the rapscallion, eye patched, whiskey guzzling Deputy Marshall that won him an Academy Award. Katharine Hepburn is prim Eula Goodnight, a Bible thumping missionary who teams up with the gun fighter to avenge the death of her father. While in pursuit of the outlaws, a warm rapport develops between the rough n' tumble lawman and the flirty reverend's daughter.
