Bullet Train (Dir. Junya Sato) (1975): One of the Japanese Shinkansen Bullet Trains is threatened with a bomb that will explode automatically if the train slows below 80 km/h, unless a ransom is paid. Police race to find the bombers and to learn how to defuse the bomb.
Golgo 13 (Dir. Junya Sato) (1973): Meet Duke Togo, better known as Golgo 13, the ultimate hitman for hire. Ruthless, cold-blooded and lethal, Golgo is an arcane legend amongst killers. Fulfilling a contract to assassinate the son of a notorious industrial tycoon, Golgo is caught in the crosshairs of the most relentless forces that money can buy. It is the ultimate test of survival; betrayal and murder hide in every corner, making every city unsafe, every friend an enemy.
Dragon Princess (Dir. Yataka Kodaira) (1981): Karate master Kazuma gets severely beaten and crippled by nefarious rival Nikaido. Kazuma trains his loyal daughter Yumi in the martial arts so she can exact a harsh revenge on Nikaido and his band of evil thugs.
The Bodyguard (Dir. Simon Nuchtern) (1976): Karate master and anti-drug vigilante Chiba returns to his home in Japan, where he holds a press conference announcing his intention to wipe out the nation's drug industry. He also offers his services as a bodyguard to anyone who is willing to come forward and provide information about the drug lords' activities. He is soon approached by a mysterious woman claiming to have important information and asking for Chiba's protection. She seems to be legitimate, but is she really what she appears to be?
Karate Warriors (Dir. Kazuhiko Yamaguchi) (1976): Sonny Chiba is the chopsocky star of Karate Warriors. Chiba is a self-styled crime fighter, and the city certainly provides him with enough people to fight! The fun begins when he takes on battalions of criminals on the streets, with nary a cop in sight.
Sister Street Fighter (Dir. Kazuhiko Yamaguchi) (1974): Lee Long is a martial-arts champion who the police use as an undercover agent to infiltrate a drug ring responsible for importing heroin from Japan to Hong Kong. When he is identified and imprisoned, the police pressure his sister, Tina Long, to help them locate and free him. She gets the help of Lee's martial-arts school, including the powerful Sonny Kawasaka, for the inevitable battle-royale with the drug gang, which includes masters of many different 'schools' of fighting.
