This murky British thriller stars Tom Harper as Adam, a gay teacher swept up in a national scandal that starts when his mysterious one-night stand shows up dead - and leads all the way to the British Royal family. In his race to discover the killer, Adam's every move is tracked through the streets of London by hundreds of closed circuit cameras.
A mystery filmed largely using fake surveillance cameras, Surveillance 24/7 co-stars Dawn Steele ("Monarch of the Glen"), Sean Brosnan (Pierce Brosnan's son) and gay film icon Simon Callow. From the first frame to the last, director Paul Oremland (Like It Is) crafts a paranoid tale that this writer found headache inducing. We found the constantly blurry cinematography distracting from the tale, which might have been much more interesting filmed in a conventional manner.
