In the French Comedy The Holy Child, 39-year-old Father Marc Aubray is a role model for both his parish and the public. Wholeheartedly devoted to his religious duties, he also staunchly advocates priestly celibacy, and has, in fact, written a book on the subject. The media embraced this book and its handsome author, bringing Father Marc considerable fame.
But just as things are going swimmingly for him, a smart-assed teenager shows up at his doorstep, claiming to be none other than his son Dimitri. An avid hash-smoker and all-around troublemaker. Father Marc strikes a deal with the boy: he'll take him in, but only in exchange for absolute secrecy. Just how long can this secret last?
