This first volume of episodes from the second season of Ironside features further escapades with wheelchair-bound former detective Robert T. Ironside (Raymond Burr). Rookie sergeant Ed Brown (Don Galloway), policewoman Eve Whitfield (Barbara Anderson), and reformed criminal Mark Sanger (Don Mitchell) aid Ironside as he works as a consultant for the San Francisco police department. In this season, which originally aired in 1968, the gang hunt down a jewel thief, look into the career of a policeman who has been accused of murder, and encounter a chatty Mynah bird who may offer them clues to an unsolved murder.
