An L.A. screenwriter, who is desperate for an idea, is introduced to Muse, a real-life daughter of the Greek god Zeus, by a friend and fellow writer. He then decides to pay whatever price, albeit reluctantly, to satisfy this goddess in order to get going again with a blockbuster script. Martin Scorsese, Rob Reiner, James Cameron, and Cybil Shepherd all make cameos in this divine comedy written and directed by Albert Brooks.
