Michael Haneke's remake of his 1997 Australian thriller of the same name is an intense and unsettling film in which two young men terrorize a family on vacation. Just as they're settling in for their vacation, Ann, George and their son Georgie are disturbed by the arrival of Peter, an eerily polite young man dressed all in white, who comes to borrow some eggs. After he is joined by equally odd Paul the pair embark on physically and mentally torturing the family. Very reminiscent of A Clockwork Orange it makes for an unsettlingly creepy viewing.
