A documentary following the members of Metallica (James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett) through group therapy, dealing with the aftermath of bassist Jason Newsted leaving the group, Hetfield's rehab stint, and the near-breakup the band during the making of the "St. Anger" album.
