Echoes From the White House (2001)

Review

This fascinating documentary celebrates the bicentennial of the home to all of America's Presidents, the White House. Reading from memoirs and diaries of presidents, first ladies, employees of the White House, and historians, this documentary goes behind the closed doors of the Washington, D.C. structure. Ranging from the most celebratory events in the presidency to some of the most shameful scandals, this is an incredible view into the world of the illustrious office and into an historic building that has been the base for these operations. This PBS special is narrated by WEST WING American President, Martin Sheen.
