A TV show that aired from 1957-1962, MAVERICK was an unusually formatted show. The three leads rarely appeared in episodes together; instead they took it in turns to steal the limelight by featuring in a constantly-rotating format that saw each actor taking turns as the lead man in each episode. The boys, Brett (James Garner of THE ROCKFORD FILES), Bart, (Jack Kelly) and Bo Maverick (Roger Moore) were poker players who drifted across the country, trying to make a living from the game while also encountering a fair share of trouble along the way.
