Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson are ghost hunters who investigate stories for the love and fascination of the paranormal, and the Sci-Fi Channel's cameras capture it all in the first season of this hit series. Their day jobs as plumbers are quickly set aside after hours so the boys can investigate alleged haunted locations across the country. Every week, the Ghost Hunters and their crew look into a case; sometimes their efforts reveal nothing, while other times they delve into the ghostly, unseen world that lurks just beyond this one. In the first season, viewers are introduced to The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), which Jason and Grant founded, and follow them as they investigate a ghost in the old Mishler Theatre and a lighthouse on Long Island Sound. A sound man is attacked by his own equipment in New Bedford, Massachusetts, while TAPS finds possible evidence of paranormal activity at the Eastern State Penitentiary.
