Review

 

First The Science Ninja Team takes part in an auto race in theihopes of getting their hands on a microfilm revealing the locations of secret Galactor bases. Berg Katse is there to stop them, and to cut open Jinpei's stomach! Then in episode twenty, Joe the Condor is critically wounded by a rocket attack from a giant mecha. The God Phoenix is crippled and facing certain doom! It's a Science Ninja Team emergency! In the next episode, a genius cybernetics professor who has been winning horse races with his cyborg horse, blackmails Leader X into making him second-in-command of Galactor! Will the Science Ninja Team finally learn the true identity of Leader X? In "The Firebird vs. The Fire Breathing Dragon," an undersea uranium mining facility is attacked by the ferocious mecha King Dragon! King Dragon is even more powerful than the God Phoenix and Red Impulse won't help. Can Gatchaman overcome this menace? Then Galactor goes bowling for blood its giant mecha ball runs wild! The Science Ninja Team uses all of their technological prowess to find a way to defeat the impervious juggernaut! Finally, it's the most sinister episode yet! With International Science Organization scientists being systematically murdered and Dr. Nambu next on the list, Gatchaman must foil Galactor's ruthless Ninja Blackbirds and their hideous Neon Giant!
