BetRivers Casino players in New Jersey will soon have some new games to sample. While the forthcoming Design Works Gaming titles might not be entirely novel when it comes to the New Jersey online casino market, they will represent an expansion for BetRivers.
Rush Street Interactive, BetRivers’ parent company, recently closed on the deal to bring the games to the app. It’s a step forward for both parties in the Garden State.
Design Works Gaming signs on with BetRivers New Jersey online casino
According to a press release, Design Works Gaming (DWG) titles will soon be available on the BetRivers Casino app in New Jersey. Some of DWG’s most popular titles include Break the Bounty, LuckyTap and 10X Fortune. DWG makes use of Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming platform to deliver its games.
Regarding the new partnership, Rush Street Interactive CEO Richard Swartz said:
“Design Works Gaming’s portfolio of high-quality titles is really exciting, as it delivers a vast array of top-class casino games to our players in New Jersey. We’re looking forward to offering these popular games soon in other markets where we also operate as we continually strive to offer new and exciting content to our players.”
While the release mentions that new DWG titles will be coming to BetRivers over the following months, it does not state whether any of those will be exclusive to BetRivers. Rush Street also operates the PlaySugarHouse Casino in New Jersey. It’s possible at least some of the same DWG games could be available there.
BetRivers players in New Jersey won’t be the only ones with access to DWG games forever, either.
BetRivers expands its menu in other markets, too
The release mentions that Rush Street plans to offer DWG titles to its players in other markets besides New Jersey at some point. Besides New Jersey, BetRivers is currently offering its online casino in:
- Michigan
- Pennsylvania
- West Virginia
For DWG, that will mean a possible snowball effect. While DWG is already active in Michigan via BetMGM Casino, Caesars Casino, and DraftKings Casino, with each successive operator, having access to its games becomes more essential to competing for players’ attention.
BetRivers bringing DWG titles to Pennsylvania and West Virginia will make the brand even more of a household name.
