GAN Limited announced that it has received regulatory approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission. GAN is a leading business-to-business supplier of online gambling software-as-a-service solutions, mainly to the land-based casino industry in the US.
The company is a B2B technology provider of real-money online casino solutions. It is also a well-known International B2C operator of online sports betting.
Nevada regulatory approval allows GAN to commence field trial operations of its GAN Sports betting platform with its Nevada customers. But before the provider can establish relationships with Nevada operators and launch its advanced technology, it still needs additional certification.
GAN Sports looks forward to entering the Nevada gambling market
GAN Sports has built the infrastructure to deploy into the Nevada gambling market. That includes online gambling applications and retail sports betting.
Seamus McGill, chairman and interim CEO of GAN, commented in an Oct. 20 GAN Limited news release:
“We are very pleased and humbled to have received regulatory approval from the State of Nevada to hold a gaming license. We are excited that we will be launching our leading-edge GAN Sports product in Nevada in the next few months.
The Las Vegas Locals market is one of the largest and most recognizable gaming markets in the world, and we are incredibly excited to be entering it. This is the 3rd state where our B2B sports betting technology and trading solution, GAN Sports, will be operational, and we look forward to bringing a unique and fun wagering experience to a large and growing market.”
McGill took over as GAN interim CEO after GAN CEO Dermot Smurfit stepped down in September after serving the company for more than 21 years.
WynnBet chose GAN Sports’ technology to power its MA online sportsbook
GAN Sports supplies land-based casinos with sports betting technology and offers online solutions for land-based locations to access the digital opportunities available. The company’s partners include:
- Encore Boston Harbor (Massachusetts)
- Island View Casino Resort (Mississippi)
- Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort (Arkansas)
GAN signed a partnership with WynnBet, which chose GAN Sports technology to power its online sportsbook operations across future US jurisdictions.
The agreement included the retail launch of the WynnBet Sportsbook at Encore Boston Harbor in Massachusetts in January 2023. Live in eight states, WynnBET is one of GAN’s most prominent partners.
Furthermore, GAN prides itself on being one of the first content providers to go online with its GameSTACK RGS platform, saying it serves over 50% of total gaming transactions.
