Yesterday, Light & Wonder announced an agreement to distribute SPRIBE‘s online casino titles like Aviator and Turbo Games to the US market.
Giorgi Tsutskiridze, chief commercial officer at SPRIBE, said in a Light & Wonder press release:
“We are thrilled to distribute our expansive library of games in the US exclusively with Light & Wonder, bringing our industry-leading crash game to the biggest online casinos in the market.”
SPRIBE’s Aviator online game in high demand
The distribution agreement sprang up because of Aviator’s user satisfaction, according to the release. US players and operators expressed interest in the company’s flagship game at various points.
The heightened demand comes from positive feedback from Aviator players regarding its multiplayer and interactive features. This led to its recognition as one of the world’s leading crash games.
Aviator, launched in January 2019, has over 2,000 operators using it. The game has 10 million active users every month, with 165,000 bets every minute. With this much engagement and user enthusiasm, it grew in no time to be among the top real-money online casino games.
SPRIBE launched the first batch of Turbo Games in May 2019, only months after Aviator.
As the games roll out in the US, it is a milestone for SPRIBE in accessing more regions in the iGaming market. The slot developer has already obtained licenses and certifications internationally, including:
- Malta
- United Kingdom
- Romania
- Ontario
- Switzerland
Steve Mayes, senior director of digital partnerships at Light & Wonder, said: “SPRIBE’s top-performing crash game, Aviator, has made impressive waves in the industry and been a resounding success in a short space of time, attracting a previously untapped demographic of players and we expect a similar reception in the US market.”
Light & Wonder rolls out more games from ReelPlay and Netflix
Just a day before announcing its distribution agreement with SPRIBE, Light & Wonder’s partnership with ReelPlay was extended. This renewed collaboration, spanning four years, enables Light & Wonder to continue distributing ReelPlay’s games to North America and beyond through its aggregation platform.
As part of this alliance, 12 new games will launch annually through the aggregation platform. Concerning the partnership extension, David Johnson, CEO at ReelPlay, said:
“Light & Wonder has long been a highly valued partner to ReelPlay. We are delighted to have signed this multi-year extension agreement.
Light & Wonder provides ReelPlay with the distribution security to continue creating new and inspirational concepts alongside established and trusted proprietary IP such as 10K WAYS and INFINITY REELS. ReelPlay games entertain for the long term and are enjoyed by players globally, driving revenues for key partners in regulated markets worldwide.”
On Tuesday, Light & Wonder, in collaboration with Netflix, announced it would be debuting its “Squid Game” slot machine in casinos next year.
