Following two dramatic Game 7’s on Sunday, the NBA Conference Finals are set. What’s more, you can now legally bet on the games, the series, and the entire NBA Playoffs in eight different states across the country.

After falling behind early, the Portland Trailblazers came back on the road to beat the Denver Nuggets in a decisive Western Conference Semifinal Game 7 Sunday. Later, Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard hit a buzzer beater to win a Game 7 at home against the Philadelphia 76ers and move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Sports betting on the two NBA Conference Finals

The defending champion Golden State Warriors will now host the Blazers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday, May 14. The Raptors will go on the road to face the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday, May 15.

Legal sportsbooks in Nevada, Delaware, New Jersey, Mississippi, West Virginia, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and a single Native Casino in New Mexico are all posting odds on the NBA’s Conference Finals.

Plus, if you’re physically located in any of these states, resident or not, you can still bet on any one of the four teams remaining to win it all this year through the NBA Futures market.

Sports betting software company and services provider Kambi powers various legal sportsbooks across the country. This includes New Jersey online sports betting operations DraftKings Sportsbook and 888 Sport. Plus, retail sportsbooks at Parx, SugarHouse, and Rivers casinos in Pennsylvania.

Kambi is also the outfit behind the SugarHouse PA sports betting app that will launch this month.

NBA Conference Finals odds

Kambi’s odds on the two NBA Conference Finals looked like this on Monday morning:

  • Golden State Warriors (-500) versus Portland Trailblazers (+375)
  • Milwaukee Bucks (-305) versus Toronto Raptors (+240)

The NBA Futures markets are still open as well, allowing you to pick one of the four teams left to win it all.

The NBA Futures market on Kambi looked like this on Monday morning:

  • Golden State Warriors -162
  • Milwaukee Bucks +250
  • Toronto Raptors +550
  • Portland Trailblazers +1400

As you can see, Kambi is now making Golden State moneyline favorites to repeat as NBA Champions. Right now, that means you’ll have to bet $162 to win $100 plus your bet back on the Warriors to win it all.

Of course, that number will only go up if the Warriors continue to find success early in the Western Conference Finals against Portland.

The NBA Futures market on FanDuel Sportbook in New Jersey looked quite similar Monday:

  • Golden State Warriors -160
  • Milwaukee Bucks +240
  • Toronto Raptors +550
  • Portland Trailblazers +1500

However, FanDuel Sportbook is offering a unique NBA Futures bet it calls a Name The Finalist – Exacta. Here you are tasked with picking the exact outcome of the NBA Finals.

This market offers some more value than the straight futures. This is how the odds look:

  • Warriors to beat Bucks +150
  • Warriors to beat Raptors +300
  • Bucks to beat Warriors +300
  • Raptors to beat Warriors +650
  • Blazers to beat Bucks +1600
  • Bucks to beat Blazers +1600
  • Blazers to beat Raptors +2500
  • Raptors to beat Blazers +3300

FOX Bet in New Jersey has also posted odds on the four teams left to win the NBA title. These odds look slightly different than the others and offer real value on the underdogs:

  • Golden State Warriors -182
  • Milwaukee Bucks +250
  • Toronto Raptors +800
  • Portland Trailblazers +1800

BetStarsNJ also has a Warriors Special bet. You can bet on the Warriors not to win the NBA title at +120.

Don’t be surprised by a shift in the East

You can also see that the numbers are a little closer with the two Eastern Conference Finals combatants. Don’t be surprised to see a dramatic shift in the odds for futures and the series itself if Toronto wins one of the first two games on the road in Milwaukee, stealing away home court advantage.

Betting on any of these markets at a legal sportsbook across the US is as simple as picking winners. Plus, sharp sports bettors will take advantage of the way a single win or loss affects the odds, searching for the best price on a bet as the series continues.

In other words, you’re going to want to check the odds and see what’s new every day throughout the rest of the NBA Playoffs.
