Pennsylvania Lottery customers are about to get an influx of instant online lottery games from an award-winning provider.

Luxomberg-based NeoGames, an iLottery and iGaming company, announced a three-year contract with Scientific Games to provide instant-win lottery games to the Pennsylvania Lottery via the firm’s NeoGames Studio library. NeoGames Studio Managing Director Hili Shakked said in a company news release:

“Through this partnership with Scientific Games and the Pennsylvania Lottery, we are able to bring our premium eInstant games to a large new market of players. This collaboration is a further illustration of our commitment to providing innovative, engaging games that meet the needs of lottery customers.”

The partnership is another step in what has been an impressive North American surge by NeoGames. which now partners with eight lotteries in the region.

NeoGames taps into one of the most lucrative US lottery markets

Pennsylvania represents one of the most lucrative lottery markets in the country. The state generated the eighth-most lottery revenue in 2021, according to revenue data from the Tax Policy Center. NeoGames’ entry into the Pennsylvania market means it has a hook in one of the biggest fish in the US lottery industry.

Additionally, Scientific Games’ contract with the Pennsylvania Lottery runs through 2031, which means that, if all goes well, NeoGames will work with Scientific Games for the next eight years.

NeoGames Studio has been in business for 17 years. This level of experience is likely to keep Scientific Games and the Pennsylvania Lottery happy. Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko said in a NeoGames news release:

“We are delighted to be able to add the successful and innovative NeoGames Studio portfolio to our iLottery online platform. We are always looking for innovative ways to enhance the digital games experience for our valued players and NeoGames Studio has a content portfolio that is packed with entertaining experiences.”

NeoGames’ success may lead to an acquisition by Aristocrat

This past month, NeoGames shareholders voted to approve the sale of the company to Aristocrat Leisure for $1.2 billion. While the vote is a significant one, it’s not definitive. There must be another vote before the deal is final.

NeoGames executives framed the possible sale as the culmination of the company’s hard work and success. They first announced the sale in May.

The sale would presumably include NeoGames Studio, but it’s unclear what would happen to the department after the sale. Because of its growth in the North American market, Aristocrat may let NeoGames Studio keep doing what it’s doing.
