The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has issued a $10,000 fine to Stadium Casino, operator of the Live! Casino Philadelphia.
The US casino operator received a fine for allowing individuals to enter restricted areas of the property.
Additionally, at the Wednesday meeting, the PGCB banned eight adults from all Pennsylvania casinos after leaving children unattended to gamble.

Pennsylvania casino breached state rules and regulations
Two incidents occurred in Live! Casino Philadelphia, where individuals gained access to restricted areas of the casino facility.
In the first incident, a woman managed to enter several restricted areas in the casino and hotel. As discovered, she stole items from employees.
In a separate incident, three casino players entered an unsecured restricted area. They accessed the casino floor after previously being denied by casino security.
The PGCB ruled both situations were in breach of state rules and regulations regarding land-based casino operations. And subsequently issued a fine to Stadium’s Live! Casino Philadelphia.
The PGCB placed eight players on the Involuntary Exclusion List
The PGCB also took action and banned eight adults from Massachusetts casinos after they left children unattended to gamble. Such behavior subjects the offending adult to criminal prosecution and exclusion from all Pennsylvania casinos.
As noted in The Board’s statement issued on Oct. 19:
“The Board’s actions regarding adults who chose to enter a casino while leaving children under their care unattended serves as a reminder that adults are prohibited from leaving minors unattended in the parking lot or garage, a hotel, or other venues at a casino since it creates a potentially unsafe and dangerous environment for the children.”
Pennsylvania casino players left children unattended to gamble
In total, 16 children were left unattended. Here are details of the eight people who are now banned.
- A male player left five children unattended in a vehicle at the Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack parking lot while playing table games for 25 minutes.
- A male patron left three children unattended in a vehicle at the Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino while watching table games for 12 minutes.
- A female gambler left a 12-year-old child unattended in her vehicle in the Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack parking garage while playing slot machines for 57 minutes.
- A male player left an 8-year-old unattended in his taxi service vehicle at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh while placing sports bets inside.
- A female player left a 9-year-old unattended in her vehicle at the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course while she played slots for half an hour.
- A male patron left a 2-year-old in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Presque Isle Downs & Casino while placing bets at the sportsbook.
- A male consumer left a child unattended in a vehicle for eight minutes while gambling at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.
- A gambler left three children unattended in a vehicle at the Rivers Casino Pittsburgh while playing table games.
The number of self-excluded players in the Keystone State has increased to 1,000.
