Just as real tigers have individual striping patterns, Loto-Québec seems determined to make its online casino offerings distinct from any future competition. It took a step toward that end recently by adding Red Tiger games to its menu.

Loto-Québec is the first provincial lottery in Canada to offer these slots and table games. It’s a portfolio that includes some of the most popular recent releases in other parts of North America.

Loto-Québec adds Red Tiger games

For those unfamiliar with Red Tiger, it’s a content studio that recently cashed in on its success. In 2020, Evolution bought it for 223 million Euros (about 310 million Canadian dollars). It’s still pumping out the winning content, though.

Among its slot titles is the popular Gonzo’s Quest Megaways. Several online casino platforms in the United States employ Red Tiger Games like BetMGM Casino and DraftKings Casino. Now, Loto-Québec is among them.

“We’re excited to build on this relationship and hope that this is just the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership and that Loto-Québec will be able to benefit from our innovative new titles as we continue to grow,” Evolution North America commercial director Jeff Millar said.

Loto-Québec already had a broader relationship with Evolution. That partnership, which started in 2018, recently brought Evolution’s Dual Play games to Canada for the first time.

Dual Play table games now live as well

Last week, Loto-Québec made four of Evolution’s Dual Play tables available for players. The Dual Play name refers to the ability to access them either in-person or online. Two of the tables are for baccarat, while the other two offer roulette.

Players who wish to do so in person should visit Loto-Québec’s physical casino in Montreal. For players who prefer to play online, they can do so right alongside the players at the casino. Loto-Québec’s online casino platform also offers other live dealer games.

Evolution’s Canadian live dealer studio is in Vancouver. However, it has six dedicated tables just for Loto-Québec with French-speaking game presenters. Although Québec doesn’t have any immediate plans to allow private competitors for online gambling in the province like Ontario, these offerings will help it compete should that ever change.
