On Wednesday, Playtech, a gaming technology company, revealed a new strategic partnership in the United States with Stardust, the online casino brand of Boyd Gaming.
Boyd Gaming’s Stardust division is set to integrate a variety of Playtech’s offerings, including table games, online slots, and live casino games.
The Stardust online casino first debuted in New Jersey and underwent a relaunch in June of this year. Including New Jersey, the Playtech content release for Stardust will happen in the Pennsylvania online casino market.
Which Playtech games are coming to Stardust online casino?
Through this partnership, Stardust will gain exclusive access to Playtech’s diverse portfolio of gaming content. Among the Playtech titles Stardust will add are popular games such as:
- Age of the Gods
- Gold Rush: Cash Collect
- Live online casino gameshows like Adventures Beyond Wonderland
Jim Ryan, chief executive officer of Boyd Interactive, expressed his delight with the company gaining access to Playtech’s fully packed portfolio. In a Playtech news release Ryan said:
“We are excited to incorporate Playtech’s exceptional online casino and Live Casino games into our Stardust offerings in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We look forward to offering Stardust players renowned Playtech titles such as ‘Age of the Gods,’ captivating, branded games like ‘Gold Rush: Cash Collect,’ and entertaining live shows like ‘Adventures Beyond Wonderland.’”
Marcus Yoder, chief commercial officer at Playtech USA, commented on the partnership, saying: “By introducing the exciting Stardust online casinos, Boyd Gaming expanded its long-standing tradition of surpassing expectations and delivering unique entertainment experiences into the online space.
The team at Playtech is thrilled to collaborate with the Boyd team and we are confident that the joining of our forces will bring mutual success to both companies,”
Playtech expands its US reach and encourages responsible play
This agreement enables Playtech to enhance its online casino footprint within lucrative US markets. Recognizing the United States as a pivotal growth region, Playtech has entered into analogous partnerships with a diverse range of operators.
Last month, the company achieved a milestone by successfully inaugurating its third cutting-edge live casino dealer studio in Pennsylvania. This move aligns with its existing studios located in two of the most vibrant online gaming states, New Jersey and Michigan.
In October, it struck a special deal with Fremantle, a television production company, to integrate the “Family Feud” franchise into its live gameshow portfolio.
While the gaming technology company is keen on its expansion, it has also taken priority to encourage players to gamble responsibly through different initiatives. One of which includes using software tools and data analytics to identify at-risk players.
