Yes, you will need to use the referral code LINES when you sign up. Creating an account is easy.
- Complete the registration form and use the PrizePicks referral code LINES to claim the bonus offer.
- Verify your account.
- Make a deposit and get a 100% deposit match up to $100.

That’s not the only bonus available, though. If you like the site, you can also invite friends to join PrizePicks.
The recruitment bonus is pretty good: For every single friend that signs up and makes a deposit, you’ll receive $20 in cash.
What’s even better is that if your referral makes an initial deposit that’s more than $100, you’ll get an additional 10% of their deposit dropped into your account, too. So, this supplements your bankroll quite nicely.
What is PrizePicks?
PrizePicks is a DFS platform. What makes it different from other sites is that it has not made the transition to offering real-action sports bets; it focuses on the fantasy aspect.
Also, PrizePicks offers fantasy points. So, this means unlike other DFS sites that may give traditional prop bets (e.g., a player goes over/under a certain number of touchdowns), PrizePicks sets a fantasy points line instead.
All the users of PrizePicks can then analyze this specific scoring system to decide on whether the chosen player will go over or under.
PrizePicks is the third iteration of what has now become a successful platform.
It initially started life as SidePrize, a site that enabled players to pit their fantasy teams against one another. The stakes could be raised each week by players making careful, skilled side bets potentially providing a greater return on their DFS experience.
The site later changed and expanded into PredictPicks, the aim of which was creating the most simplistic, fast-paced setup of any DFS site.
After developing its current style of fantasy sports betting, it became PrizePicks.
PrizePicks software and features
PrizePicks uses its software to create the game interface. As we mentioned before, the site offers a simple setup that’s neither flashy nor gimmicky.
The interface is straightforward, easy and intuitive.
Pick your sport from the main menu, pick your players and choose your over/under on the fantasy point projection. That’s all there is to it.
Rules and scoring for each of the sports are also clearly laid out. Also, there is a dashboard that gives you an overview of your contests, wins and losses.
The one thing that could be improved is the FAQ section. At present, it is a bit muddled. At first glance, it can be difficult to find the information you’re looking for since the questions aren’t clearly separated from the answers.
PrizePicks app
PrizePicks is available via Android and Apple devices.
Toward the bottom of the main page, you can find links to each app’s download. Also, you can access the site through the mobile web version if you don’t want to download an app.
The desktop interface is already clean and straightforward, and not much changes in the mobile device version. You’ll recognize the layout and find the menus and options in the same places.
Whether using the app or the mobile version of the site, you will have access to the same functions and features such as banking, support and contests.
PrizePicks game offerings
Main Game
If we haven’t already said it, we’ll say it again; PrizePicks is incredibly simple.
There is only a single game offering available to players, though it is accessible for a wide range of sports, leagues and events.
What you need to do first is choose a sport (or more accurately, a league or event). Sports available at PrizePicks include the following:
- E-sports
- English Premier League
- MLB
- MLS
- MMA
- NBA
- NCAAB
- NCAAF
- NFL
- NHL
- PGA
- Tennis
You can find each of these in an easy-to-navigate menu at the top of the screen. Once you’ve picked your sport, you’ll see a board of players.
This board details the different player stats as well as giving their fantasy points line. Then, what you need to do is pick a minimum of two players (you can go up to four) from multiple teams and make an under/over selection for each of them.
One unique twist that PrizePicks offers is “cross-sport entries.” In other words, it’s not even required that the players chosen be from the same sport. A single entry could contain players from the NFL, the NBA, and the MLB, for instance.
After choosing your players, you select your entry fee and the type of bet you’d like to make. Depending on what kind of wager you have chosen, you will get different payouts.
It’s important to note that players are competing against the house, not each other. So, the same entry can win multiple times, and there’s no need for players to be secretive about their picks.
PrizePicks’ Flex Play and Power Play
There are two major types of wagers on PrizePicks. The Power Play option is the standard format given by PrizePicks.
In this setup, if you get all of your picks correct, then you will receive the full payout as follows:
- Four from four pays 10x the entry fee.
- Three from three pays 5x the entry fee.
- Two out of two pays 2.5x the entry fee.
A Flex Play is available for plays, including three or more players, and will result in a payout even if one of your picks is wrong. Also, it means payouts are lower when all picks are correct.
For instance, if you pick four out of four players correctly, then you’ll get a 4x payout, three out of four is 1.5x, three out of three gives you 2x, and finally, two out of three gives you 1.25x.
By offering these two options to players, PrizePick allows you to manage your risk. There are also contingencies in place if a player you pick meets the prediction exactly. If any of the players match exactly, they are removed from the selection.
So, a four-pick will revert to a three-pick selection and will be paid out accordingly. This is transferred throughout each of the picks, though if you’ve only chosen two players, this is a refunded bet. The same applies if your selected players end up not playing.
Other wagers on PrizePicks
Depending on the action for a particular night, there may be some other options that pop up on PrizePicks from time to time. Evenings that have fewer events could potentially play host to contests surrounding the second half of play.
So, there will always be plenty of betting options on PrizePicks, no matter how light an evening it is.
Who can play on PrizePicks?
Currently, 26 states allow players to join in on PrizePicks’ exciting DFS action.
These include Texas, Utah, Florida, Colorado, Arkansas and Wyoming, to name a few. With online betting becoming legal in the US recently, it is now up to each state to enact the specific legislation enabling it. This means PrizePicks may expand to more states in the future.
Is PrizePicks legal and secure?
PrizePicks is entirely legit in the states where it can legally operate.
It meets all jurisdictional requirements of these states.
It also ensures that all of the events operate fairly and is part of the Fantasy Sports and Gaming Association (FSGA).
The site is also secure and uses SSL-encryption protocols so that your data is not passed on to any unauthorized third parties.
How to deposit and cash out on PrizePicks
When it comes to making a deposit, PrizePicks offers players numerous deposit methods.
The most common ways to make a deposit are through PayPal or e-check. However, you can use card payment methods as well. PrizePicks accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
When it comes to payouts, these will appear on your account the morning after the sports event has ended.
When it comes to withdrawals, PrizePicks work slightly differently compared to the typical online betting setup.
There’s a maximum withdrawal value of $1,000 per week, which means you have to withdraw greater amounts in several installments.
The minimum withdrawal amount is $30. To make a withdrawal, you have to use the withdrawal request form and fill out the value you’d like to receive.
You cannot pick the withdrawal option, as it’s all done via e-check regardless of the method you used to deposit. After the withdrawal request is processed, payments can take between two to five business days to reach your account.
PrizePicks members services
At PrizePicks, the primary method of contacting customer service is through the live chat. The team is quick to answer questions and is helpful and friendly. The process leaves you with an excellent overall impression of the company since you’re talking to a real person.
When you open the live chat, there is an option to find an answer yourself. PrizePicks provides a collection of articles that detail how the site works.
You can use the text box to search and see if your question has already been answered. It can be a timesaver to check out the FAQ section before reaching out to customer service.
The member services support center is available from 9 a.m to 12 a.m EST, 7 days a week.
Final thoughts

It requires virtually no learning on your part: Simply sign up, deposit and play. The fact that you don’t have to pick an entire team roster or a season-long bet is also excellent. You only have to choose a couple of players you think will make an impact.
