Q Casino in Dubuque, Iowa, sits on an island in the Mississippi River, but it’s not isolated.

This week, the casino announced it’s more connected to Las Vegas’ Palms Casino Resort than ever, boosting its rewards partnership with the casino and a new direct flight from Dubuque to Vegas.

In a press release sent to PlayUSA, Q Casino Chief Commercial Officer Stacy Kansky said that Q is “thrilled” about its growing relationship with Palms:

“We are thrilled to align with Palms Casino Resort, where our players can experience the ultimate Las Vegas experience, as well as these new flights, which we hope are the start of restored air service to and from Dubuque.

Current Q Casino loyalty club members will be able to enjoy great promotions and opportunities right away. It also gives new players and those in our player development program more benefits to look forward to as well.”

The Iowa casino also announced renovation plans earlier this year which should be complete by 2025.

Expanded partnership means exciting opportunities for Q Casino guests

As part of Q Casino’s expanded partnership with Palms, Q customers now have the following opportunities:

  • Earn complimentary trips to Palms Casino
  • Book VIP group trips to Palms that include perks like a cocktail reception.
  • The chance to earn a complimentary trip each year for higher-tier members of the Q loyalty program

Jennifer Johnson, vice president of market at Palms, said this new phase in the two properties’ partnership isn’t just about Iowans visiting Vegas. “The expansion of our partnership with Q Casino offers a way for us to help them develop a more robust loyalty program for their customers, but also attract new players to our property.

We hope this partnership will provide great hospitality opportunities for people visiting from Dubuque, and maybe even for people from Las Vegas wanting to explore a historic Iowa city on the Mississippi River for something different.”

Partnership includes new direct flights from Dubuque to Las Vegas

In addition to giving Q Casino customers new opportunities for earning trips to and experience at Palms, Q announced that Avelo Airlines launched a Dubuque-to-Vegas nonstop flight departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Located in the northeast corner of Iowa, Dubuque sits on the border of Wisconsin and Illinois, giving residents of three states a direct flight to Las Vegas. Avelo Airlines Head of Brand and Communications Jim Olson said in the press release:

“We are excited to add an exclusive nonstop route to Las Vegas for our tri-state customers, especially given the expanded partnership between Q Casino and the Palms. Vegas has something for everyone and Avelo’s affordability, convenience and reliability hits the jackpot on getting to this popular destination.”
