Tipico USA Technology, a global sports betting operator, is officially live and taking bets in the Hawkeye State. According to the company, new Iowa sports betting customers will find several sign-up promotions and cash offers, including a $250 deposit match.

With the addition of Iowa, Tipico Sportsbook is now available in four states, including New Jersey, Colorado and Ohio.

Tipico Sportsbook launches in Iowa

In a statement, Adrian Vella, CEO of Tipico USA, said, “we are thrilled to grow our footprint and give Iowa customers access to our propriety product and competitive offering.”

“Iowa bettors will be able to use a very simple product with fast deposits and withdrawals, experience cutting-edge functionality in Live betting, SGP+ with wide coverage on player props, and can cash out anytime— including partial cash-out capabilities. To top it off, Tipico’s functionality is run from within the US with customer service based in New Jersey.”

Iowa-based sports fans and bettors can download the app via the Apple or Google Play stores.

Iowa sports betting launch follows successful Ohio takeoff

The company’s entry into Iowa follows its successful New Year’s Day launch in Ohio.

In the Buckeye State, Tipico was one of several operators to usher in Ohio sports betting. Tipico is also the official sports betting partner of the Major League Soccer club Columbus Crew.

On launch day, Ohio had 16 online sports betting operators ready to go, the single biggest online launch in the US. Experts are speculating, once fully mature, Ohio can be one of the biggest sports betting markets in the US.

In addition to the 16 online operators, there are twelve retail sportsbooks and over 1,000 self-service kiosks. Customers can find sports betting kiosks at bars, restaurants, bowling alleys and grocery stores.

With its launch, Ohio is now the 32nd US state to allow legal, regulated sports betting.
