    My wife had some trouble on Party Poker NJ recently. She opted into a bonus and made a deposit, only to realize the bonus couldn’t be cleared on video poker. Kind of annoying that the terms were vague but whatever.

    The real problem arose when her withdrawals were blocked. And thus began a three day back and forth with their crappy customer support team, who promised her the funds would be returned in 12 hours.

    After 72 hours without a satisfying update I took to social media on her behalf and let them have it. Long story short, it was resolved with a (sort of) reasonable explanation a couple hours later.

    The lesson here is that if you press legal and regulated sites to make right, they will. By contrast, unregulated sites are likely to just steal your money and you can’t do anything about it.

    Still, get your act together Party – most other CS teams are awesome.

    Thanks for letting us know. That’s super shady, and frankly strange considering the customer service for most online casinos.

    Yeah it was pretty disappointing. I think now that GVC is in charge some things will change — let’s just hope they don’t forget about the little NJ market.

    Takeaway is that despite poor, unknowledgeable CS, the issue was resolved. Hooray for regulation.
