The Las Vegas Golden Knights have a new online sports betting partner.
Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz announced the organization is partnering with sports betting operator Betfred.
New experience for Golden Knights Fans
Although the team did not disclose financials, the multi-year partnership does come with certain perks for customers and those attending Golden Knights games.
According to a press release, the partnership will feature interactive contests for fans during intermission at select VGK home games. Betfred will also get brand exposure on the dashboard and LED signage at T-Mobile Arena. The company will also have exposure on the NHL’s all-new DED broadcast signage.
Betfred will also be incorporated on the team’s official digital channels, email newsletter and radio broadcasts.
In a statement, Bubolz said:
“We’re proud to be partnering with Betfred as they make their arrival here in Las Vegas. Betfred’s US business is Vegas Born just like we are, and we’re excited to help them launch their brand in Nevada.”
Betfred Sportsbook COO Bryan Bennett said the sportsbook is excited to partner with the hometown team.
“As a Las Vegas-based company preparing to open our first hometown sportsbook in partnership with Mohegan Casino Las Vegas at the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas, we’re very excited to be partnering with the hometown Vegas Golden Knights. We look forward to growing our business here and supporting Las Vegas hockey in the process.”
More partnerships for Betfred
Betfred recently became part of the Virginia sports betting industry. The company is also the official sports betting partner of Loudoun United FC, a United Soccer League (USL) team based in Leesburg, Virginia.
