White Hat Studios, a slots provider specializing in US online gambling, closed a deal with PokerStars. The partnership means that White Hat Studios can get its online casino slot titles in front of PokerStars customers in:
- Michigan
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
“We are thrilled to be partnering with PokerStars, a prominent name in the United States iGaming market, and the deal exemplifies that the industry’s key players recognize the quality of our content”, White Hat Studios Vice President of Sales and Marketing Daniel Lechner said in a statement.
White Hat has been a regular on the online gaming newswire over the past year, signing multiple partnerships and expanding its influence in the US online gaming market.
PokerStars partnership follows BetMGM West Virginia launch
This month’s news of White Hat’s agreement with PokerStars came shortly after the company announced a trio of partnership developments.
West Virginia launch
First, White Hat Studios entered the West Virginia iGaming market with partner BetMGM.
The West Virginia entry was monumental for the company, as it meant being live in all regulated online gambling markets in the US. White Hat CEO Andwhitworth said in a statement:
“We are thrilled to be…further expanding our impressive reach within the US. This latest market entry means we are now active in every regulated state, a remarkable feat and we are proud of our dedicated and talented team for making it happen.”
Pennsylvania launch with Golden Nugget
A few days before the West Virginia announcement, White Hat announced its partnership with Golden Nugget had ventured into new territory.
The company revealed it would offer its titles through Golden Nugget when the iconic casino brand launched its online casino in Pennsylvania on August 21.
Unibet partnership
Two days before the Golden Nugget announcement, White Hat Studios reached an agreement to offer online slots in New Jersey and Pennsylvania through Unibet.
Miranda McPhail, product vice president at Unibet’s parent company Kindred Group, said White Hat Studios’ loyal fan base and award-winning game titles are two main reasons why Unibet signed White Hat.
Why is White Hat Studios expanding?
The US online casino market is a lucrative one even though it’s limited to six states.
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan are the biggest markets, generating a combined revenue of more than $400 million monthly.
Companies that offer online slots recognize that there’s a huge opportunity to make money in the US. White Hat Studios is no different. The firm wants to grab as much revenue as it can, which explains the flurry of partnerships and launches over the past month.
And because US online gambling should continue to expand, we’ll likely see more White Hat Studios partnerships make headlines.
