Late last year, Wynn Las Vegas introduced a new casino loyalty program, Wynn Rewards. It’s a traditional casino loyalty program that offers more transparency than the previous program. Previously, the players club rewards were a bit ambiguous and granted by the host of a player.
Wynn Rewards is gaining traction with current customers and is looking to add more members. The new casino rewards program is offering a way to upgrade and explore higher-tier benefits. Through Aug. 31, 2021, Wynn Rewards is matching the tier status with other Las Vegas casinos.
This tier matching promotion offers hundreds or thousands of dollars in benefits depending on your player’s club status at other national or Las Vegas or Nevada casinos.
The upgrade process is simple. If a player has higher tier status with another casino corporation they can bring their rewards card to the Wynn Las Vegas rewards desk. (You heard that right, you must physically go into the property, as the promotion cannot be done online or via phone.) The casino will give the player a Wynn Rewards card with a similar status that closely matches the competition.
This is not a tier status match that will last forever for those who upgrade. According to the terms & conditions, the higher status ends on Dec. 31, 2022. Players who match tier status with this method will have to spend the appropriate amount of money in order to keep the higher status into the following year.
Players who match tiers with Wynn Las Vegas will have more than a full year to explore the new Wynn Rewards players club benefits.
Tier Matching with Wynn Rewards casino loyalty program
This is a rare tier matching opportunity. This is the first time Wynn has offered a tier match promotion. Wynn Rewards is matching tiers with more casino rewards programs than most other tier matching promotions from other casino operators.
Wynn Rewards will match its two upper tiers Platinum and Black with a variety of higher tier rewards programs from the following national and Las Vegas casino operators:
- Boyd Gaming – B-Connected
- Caesars – Caesars Rewards
- Cosmopolitan – Identity
- Golden Nugget – 24K Select
- MGM Resorts – M Life
- Penn National Gaming – MyChoice
- Station Casinos – my|Rewards Boarding Pass
- The Venetian – Grazie Rewards
Wynn will also match tiers with the following casino rewards programs outside of Las Vegas:
- Pechenga – The Club
- San Manuel – Club Serrano
- Snoqualmie – Crescent Club
- Sycuan – Sycuan Club
Tier matching is a promotion that different casinos sporadically offer customers. The promotions are usually available for a limited time and sometimes overlap so players can upgrade pretty frequently.
Best of Wynn Rewards upper-tier benefits
Wynn Rewards has three tier levels. Everyone will start with the red level. This tier match promotion will allow players to upgrade to either platinum (mid-tier) or black (highest-tier). Obviously, both higher tiers offer greater benefits.
Instead of listing all of the higher tier benefits, we’ll highlight some of the best. Since Wynn Rewards only offers three tier levels there’s a noticeable difference in the benefits.
Best Wynn Rewards Platinum Benefits
- 20% Bonus on slot points earned for FREECREDIT
- $100 spa credit
- $150 birthday dinner credit
- 2 Complimentary Wynn Master Classes for two guests (actual cost $75 and up)
Best Wynn Rewards Black Benefits
- 30% bonus on slot points earned for FREECREDIT
- Complimentary hotel stay(s) and airport transportation
- Room upgrade to Tower Suites if available
- Complimentary round of golf for two guests at Wynn Golf Club ($500 cost each)
- Complimentary Encore Boston Harbor hotel stay (three-night stay) if available
- 4 Complimentary Wynn Master Classes for two guests (actual cost $75 and up)
Frankly, anyone with an upper tier casino rewards program status should do either status match. If nothing else, platinum upgrades will get $150 dinner and two Master Classes valued at no less than $150.
Black tier benefits that include complimentary hotel rooms in Las Vegas and Boston are worth it. Golfers will save $1,000 on green fees alone.
