Online casino fans and sportsbook devotees in six states can now download WynnBET‘s new integrated online gaming app.
Wynn Resorts, which owns WynnBET, noted in a press release that players in the following states have access to the new app:
- Arizona
- Colorado
- Indiana
- Louisiana
- Tennessee
- Virginia
“We are thrilled to introduce the new WynnBET app with enhanced sportsbook technology to six more markets, which continues our commitment to offer players a five-star experience in each of the states we operate in,” Wynn Sports Interactive President Ian Williams said in a press release.
The app is now available in seven of the nine sports betting markets in which WynnBET operates. Additionally, the app is available to online casino customers in West Virginia.
New WynBET app provides seamless transition for existing customers
WynnBET’s new online casino is centralized and will eventually serve all markets in which WynnBET operates online gambling. On the backend, it’s likely easier for Wynn to run one app for all states rather than running apps created for each state.
For the player, the change shouldn’t be that jarring. Wynn indicated that switching from the state-specific apps to the new WynnBET app should be seamless.
Previous to the centralized WynnBET app, a player with a Wynn sports betting app in Arizona, for example, would have to download a new Wynn sports betting app and create new login information if they happened to be in Tennessee and wanted to bet on a game or play online slots.
When players in the six states open their app, they’ll get a prompt asking them to download the new app. Wynn will automatically transfer players’ cash balances and rewards to the new app.
The new app has several upgrades, Wynn noted:
- Faster deposits and withdrawals
- One login for all states
- More sports markets to bet on
- Additional casino games
The new app was the result of Wynn working with partners and state regulators to ensure the new app adheres to standard practices. Williams continued in a PR Newswire press release:
“We would like to thank state regulators for their timely review of our new platform as well as the many WynnBET team members and partners involved in this project for their diligent work in finalizing this significant task in a short amount of time.”
The company noted that it will launch the new app in New Jersey and New York in “the coming weeks.” Michigan, where Wynn operates an online casino, will be the last of the WynnBET markets to get the new app.
