Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is arguably the premier gaming destination for Detroit Lions fans. This week, the casino announced that it signed former Lions wide receiver Herman Moore as its brand ambassador. Moore characterized the partnership as “mutually beneficial.”
“I’m excited to be a representative of this brand and for this to also be a relationship that trusts my brand,” said Moore. “I love that they asked me to get involved on the creative side and to also have a voice in how I would be portrayed and integrated within the process. This is a mutually beneficial relationship that comes with a lot of history and trust.”
Herman Moore will be everywhere during Lions’ season
Now that Moore and Soaring Eagle are brand teammates, he’ll appear on TV and in person in a variety of ways.
Moore shot a series of commercials at the Lions’ Ford Field that will air throughout this NFL season. In the commercials, he promotes Soaring Eagle’s online casino and sportsbook app.
Moore will also make appearances at Soaring Eagle’s watch parties for Lions away games this season. He will also be in attendance for the casino’s Super Bowl watch party.

Moore played for the Lions for the first 11 years of his 12-year career. He is arguably the Lions second-best receiver in franchise history behind Calvin Johnson. At his peak, Moore was on par with Johnson. During the 1995 season, Moore had a career-best 123 catches, 1,686 yards, and 14 touchdowns.
Latest deal expands casino’s relationship with Lions
Soaring Eagle’s partnership with Moore is the second big Lions-related development for the casino this year.
In July, the Lions announced the casino would be the presenting partner of Lions media ventures. Those ventures include “Inside the Den,” a show that takes viewers behind the scenes of the organization. The show featured three episodes from Aug. 15 to Sept. 5, and aired in seven different media markets.
The casino is also involved in “Power Hour,” a game-day event that takes place at Ford Field.
