Patrick Schwarzenegger has a new role, and this time he is not acting in a show or movie. He is floating around in a lake, spinning in circles and laughing at himself, all to invite people to do the same at Fanatics Casino.

The campaign, “Explained by Patrick Schwarzenegger,” basically encourages people to “spin, spin, spin.” The whole thing is simple, funny, and just looks like a good time.

What’s this campaign about?

If this whole “Explained” thing sounds familiar, it should! Social media star and gymnast Livvy Dunne kicked off the series during football season, helping break down Fanatics’ sports betting perks.

Now, Schwarzenegger is keeping that energy going for Fanatics Casino.

But instead of a football field, the new ad has Schwarzenegger looking a little ridiculous, floating and lazily twirling in a lake. He’s already admitted it might be the strangest thing he’s ever done on a set.

“Spinning in circles for hours is near the top of the list.”

That dizzy feeling is exactly the point. Fanatics Casino wants to show players that their daily free game, FanCash Spins, is just as lighthearted and easy as it is rewarding.

What can you win?

The prizes aren’t too shabby, either. Every single day, there’s over $100,000 worth of rewards up for grabs. You can win FanCash, official team merch, and other perks tied to the sports world Fanatics is a huge part of.

It’s meant to be a breeze: You spin, you win, and you collect, so there’s no crazy fine print to slow you down. They’re ditching the dramatic, over-the-top casino clichés.

Why this ad works

According to Selena Kalvaria, chief marketing officer at Fanatics Betting and Gaming, this ad strategy works.

“Our vision is for Fanatics Casino to become the preferred choice for slot players by setting a new standard for player experience, innovation, and rewards.

“In a category known for flashing lights, noise, and bouncing coins, Patrick Schwarzenegger’s effortless charm and confidence bring our brand to life with a memorable explanation of playing FanCash Spins on Fanatics Casino.”

You can find the campaign everywhere: video spots (TV, online video), out-of-home displays (you might catch it on billboards), streaming and podcast audio, and even performance ads. Fanatics wants people pause and think, “Maybe I should give those FanCash Spins a shot.”

What has Fanatics been up to?

Fanatics isn’t stopping with celebrity spokespeople. They aim to be wherever fans are:

  • WWE: Fanatics recently partnered with WWE to launch a roster of exclusive themed casino games like WWE Blackjack, SmackDown Big Money Entrance!, and Raw Multiplier Melee. These branded tie-ins grab the attention of both slot fans and wrestling enthusiasts.
  • FanCash Advantage: Everything you do on the app earns FanCash, which you can spend on bonus bets or redeem for official team jerseys and gear on the main Fanatics site.
