MotorCity Casino shuttles

Sports fans and concert-goers visiting Detroit will want to fully use the property’s shuttle program. Anyone 21 or older and with a wristband can take the shuttles to and from the hotel. The shuttles go to Comerica Park, Ford Field, and Little Caesars Arena, which covers all four Detroit professional teams plus concerts at Little Caesars Arena.

Only hotel guests can use the shuttles, and you can get a wristband from the front desk. Shuttles begin 90 minutes before each event and stop one hour after. The pick-up and drop-off locations, according to the MotorCity website, are:

  • Casino: Pick-up/Drop-off area is on Brooklyn Street across from Casino Valet.
  • Lions: Pick-up/Drop-off area is on Clifford St. between Elizabeth and Columbia.
  • Tigers: Pick-up/Drop-off area is on Clifford St. between Elizabeth and Columbia.

The MGM Grand Detroit has a sleek and modern fitness center, complete with a gorgeous pool. Both amenities are only available for guests ages 14 and up. An adult must accompany anyone 14-17; anyone under 14 is prohibited. This makes it an ideal amenity for adults seeking relaxation or a good workout.

The pool is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the fitness center is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Island Resort and Casino in Harris, Michigan, offers two fantastic golf courses: Sweetgrass and Sage Run. You can book individual tee times or reserve stay-and-play packages that include a hotel stay and golf bookings.
