Lotto.com announced the expansion of its services into Ohio. Ohio joins other US states where players can take advantage of the digital platform for ordering official state lottery draw games and scratch tickets.
To do so, players must be at least 18 and physically located within the state’s borders.
Ohio is the seventh state in Lotto.com’s expansion strategy
As Lotto.com enters Ohio, it marks The Buckeye State as the seventh US jurisdiction in the company’s national expansion plan. Expanding its services into Ohio also offers Lotto.com an opportunity to reach the sixth-largest lottery in the country.
Since 1974, the Ohio lottery has transferred more than $31 billion to help fund education in Ohio. The Ohio Lottery recorded a record-breaking $4.5 billion in sales, beating its previous high from FY 2021 by $133.5 million.
Finishing the fiscal year, the Ohio Lottery also noted a record $1.46 billion return to the Lottery Profits Education Fund. It is the initiative for a wide array of educational program assistance throughout the state.
Lotto.com will, from now on, contribute to that cause. Thomas Metzger, CEO of Lotto.com Inc., said in the news release:

As stated in the press release, Lotto.com plans to expand to additional states soon. In addition to the states mentioned above, players can also access the site in Oregon.
So far, Lotto.com has reached 1.4 million customers.
