The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa together with the reimagined Borgata Casino NJ will treat Atlantic City to a spectacular fireworks show this Fourth of July weekend as it revives its annual fireworks spectacular and relaunches its online platform.
Anthony Caratozzolo, Borgata Atlantic City vice president of hospitality, said it was time to bring back a tradition.
“Fireworks at Borgata have become a signature tradition for our property and a standout moment within our summer lineup. This event transforms the entire property into a shared celebration and an unforgettable experience.
“It’s a moment guests return for year after year, creating lasting holiday memories, and we’re thrilled to partner with Borgata Online on this year’s spectacular.”
Scheduled for July 3, the show will start at 9:30 p.m. and will last for 20 minutes, with public viewing beginning at 8:30 p.m. from the casino’s surface lot. The show will be produced by Fireworks by Grucci and will feature choreographed pyrotechnics synchronized to music.
South Jersey radio station 95.1 WAYV will broadcast live from the fireworks show. Self-parking will cost $10, while valet parking will cost $15.
Relaunching the Borgata online platform
Borgata also plans to relaunch its online casino platform alongside the revival of its annual fireworks show. Notably, BetMGM has described the redesigned online platform as a significant product overhaul.
The platform will feature improved navigation and a redesigned user interface. It will also feature parity with the flagship BetMGM Casino NJ experience. Moreover, it will feature a new unified rewards hub where players can access promotions, Borgata Rewards points, and BetMGM Rewards tier status.
The platform boasts over 4,000 games, including slots, live-dealer games, and branded games. It will be available in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer at BetMGM, said:
“Borgata’s fireworks have become a signature Atlantic City tradition. The fireworks spectacular is a perfect celebration to introduce the next chapter of Borgata Online. As one of the state’s first regulated online casinos, Borgata Online has grown into a brand our players love by incorporating a seamless connection to MGM Resorts and its world of rewards along with a robust selection of games.”
On-property promotions
Borgata has lined up various on-property and online promotions to celebrate the relaunch of its fireworks show and online platform. For starters, guests can play the claw machine located at the Borgata lobby for a chance to win exciting prizes.
Moreover, there will be an adult game zone experience with interactive entertainment and branded giveaways on July 3. There will also be more entertainment and promotions on July 4 and 5.
Additionally, new players registering on the online platform for the first time will activate various promotions when they deposit at least $25, including bonus spins, luxury sunglasses, and $10,000 in bonuses.
Property-wide upgrades
Notably, in addition to upgrading its online platform, Borgata is also continuing with upgrades and renovations of its Atlantic City casino. There’s a newly renovated 25,000-square-foot gaming floor with 51 gaming tables, five private gaming salons, and an expanded Asian gaming selection.
Other upgrades include an updated entertainment area, a redesigned B Bar, an updated high-limit gaming area with rare global spirits, and a new Noodles restaurant.
