DraftKings has introduced Spanish‑language functionality across its mobile sportsbook and casino apps, aiming to provide a more accessible experience for users in the United States and Ontario. The update reflects the company’s broader efforts to offer products tailored to individual customer preferences.
The rollout begins with select existing users and will expand to all users in the coming weeks. Customers whose devices are set to Spanish will see the app automatically display in Spanish after updating, requiring no additional steps. The new functionality will cover the full DraftKings experience, including onboarding, navigation, betting markets, promotions, gaming content, responsible‑gaming tools and customer support.
“Today, Spanish‑speaking players represent a growing segment of DraftKings’ customer base,” said Corey Gottlieb, DraftKings’ chief product officer.
“By adding Spanish‑language support, we’re creating a more accessible experience while broadening the audience we can reach. This reinforces our aim to offer a product uniquely tailored to each customer’s preferences.”
DraftKings reports strong Q3 revenue amid growth
DraftKings recently reported third‑quarter 2025 revenue of US$1.144 billion, a 4% increase from $1.095 billion in the same period last year — driven by strong customer engagement, efficient acquisition of new users and improved sportsbook hold percentages. The launch of the Spanish‑language interface aligns with this period of growth and expansion, signaling DraftKings’ continued focus on accessibility and user‑centric products.
DraftKings’ multi-pronged expansion strategy
DraftKings has also made a series of strategic moves to strengthen its market position. The company hired Christian H. A. Bogstrand, former CEO of a global gaming operator, as executive vice president and general manager of online gaming. This move highlights DraftKings’ focus on growing its real-money online casino offerings.
In addition, DraftKings reached a major agreement with ESPN to become the network’s exclusive official sportsbook and odds provider. The deal, effective Dec. 1, 2025, will integrate DraftKings’ sportsbook, daily fantasy, and Pick6 offerings across ESPN’s digital platforms starting in 2026. This partnership is designed to expand DraftKings’ reach by leveraging ESPN’s broad audience and media distribution.
Together, these developments — the Spanish‑language rollout, strong recent earnings, executive hiring, and ESPN partnership — underscore DraftKings’ multi-pronged growth strategy: expanding accessibility, strengthening casino offerings, and leveraging media partnerships to reach more users.
